For Birks

You got it! This is that cliche "Birkenstocks are the New Summer Sandal" post from your favorite wannabe blogger. I'm back, better than ever, and presumably wearing purple snakeskin Birkenstocks.
I imagine you guys (as in my small but ever-expanding fan base) have stumbled across some iteration of this discourse restating the awesomeness and comfort of the fugly shoes adorning my feet, but what's one more time– for good measure.

To be fair, I discovered the trend ages before Ricardo Tisci and his team of Givenchy trendsetters. First making an appearance in 7th grade in the vinyl thong variety, next Celine SS13 influenced me to upgrade to none other than that of faux snakeskin and purple and pink hues.

What better to compliment your newfound confidence than diaper denim and a turquoise lab coat. And braces.

Can't forget the braces.

H&M sleeveless sweater, Vintage denim shorts, Liz Claiborne rain coat, Betula by Birkenstock sandals.

We've reached a point in fashion where comfort is most definitely in, where trends can are more accessible and better manipulated to your own fashion. Where Birkenstock are not just socially acceptable, but encouraged.

Trendforcast: Furrry Crocs and brown nylon gauchos are most definitely next.
